The TOTEM model is equipped with a single remote thermo scanner that can measure the

body temperature starting from a minimum height of 1,5 mt.

Thanks to a precise thermal sensor, THERMO ACCESS can measure the user’s temperature immediately.

THERMO ACCESS is intuitive and easy to use: the user’s face is framed by the camera and mirrored on the monitor, which will show the correct positioning of the face with green, or alternatively, its wrong positioning with red.



The system is configured according to the “Shared Protocol for the regulation of the measures to combat and limit the spreading of Covid-19 in the workplaces – March 14, 2020” and subsequent additions and it is set at 37,5°C (settable). At the end of the procedure, the monitor will show whether it is possible to access the area or not.

The time needed for the temperature measuring is 5 seconds.

The Totem and Totem Duo versions of the Thermo Access products can be equipped with a sanitizer gel dispenser. The purchase can be done at the order of the totem, or afterward as an accessory. However, our suggestion is to buy them at the same time as the price is convenient and double shipment costs can be avoided.

If the purchase is not concomitant with the totem order, the Purchaser will receive the kit made of a powder-coated metal front, where a dedicated adhesive will be placed (as shown in the image) along with the relevant dispenser kit.  The installation needs only a few minutes; after that, one only has to connect the suction tube of the sanitizer gel inside the Thermo Access Totem or Totem Duo to the vat. We underline that our company does not provide the vat, nor the sanitizer gel. The dimensions of the vat can be industrial of 5 liters (suggested) or 1-liter packs.

Once the system is connected, one has to push the doser a few times to activate the dispenser.

We selected this distribution typology in order to use products that are easy to find on the market, economical and efficient and to avoid any issues connected to future maintenance.


The Totem, Totem Duo products and their customizable versions can also be used to regulate the number of people that can be hosted inside the room in order to enhance adherence to minimum distance requirements foreseen by the norms into force.

This option is extremely important particularly to avoid hiring personnel dedicated to this specific task.

Once the body temperature measuring is completed, the system allows the entrance of the person and counts it.  If the user exceeds the maximum number of people forecasted, he/she will be requested to wait thanks to a specific message on the monitor.

An additional base support is provided to count people exiting the area, inclusive of a 100-meter cable. For example, this item can be made available near a shop’s cashier. Whenever the cashier completes a checkout, they will push the button to signal the exit of a client and therefore allow access of the following one.  Alternatively, the people counting button at the exit can be pushed by the client.  The base support is designed to be pushed with the hand or elbow.  In order to avoid contamination as much as possible, we suggest to regularly sanitize the device.

We point out that the system foresees also the possibility to purchase several base supports that can communicate with the Totem /Totem Duo; if there is more than one check-out point in the store, it is possible to buy several base supports to count exiting people.

In case the base support to count exiting people is bought together with the totem, the device will be ready for use and the Purchaser should only place it in the ideal position. In case the device is bought afterward, the Thermo Access technicians, thanks to the remote access, will configure the maximum number of people that can enter the area.   Once the device arrives, one only needs to connect it to the totem (requiring a few minutes) and the system will be fully functioning.

We suggest to install it at the end of the working hours, so that it is possible to verify the functioning  with the Thermo Access technicians and avoid any disruptions.


In the Totem, Totem Duo and Desk versions, Thermo Access has the possibility to be equipped with a badge reader.

This option must be ordered simultaneously with totem, NOT later.

The reader is placed next to the multifunction display. The user, who comes to the temperature measurement, is recognized by badge; their name or surname or, possibly, their recruitment number – at the company’s discretion – will appear on the monitor. Once the body temperature is detected, it can be recorded in the company’s management system, with an indication of the time of measurement and the temperature detected.

The privacy procedures will be set according to the protocols provided by the Purchaser; the system allows very high scalability; there is also the possibility of recording the video/temperature detection frame.

The badge-equipped system requires a configuration that communicates directly with the company’s management system in use, that can be done in a pre-set way, if the system data are provided at the order or, possibly, with remote assistance from Thermo Access technicians.

The badge system requires a maximum time of 15 days from the order date, for the shipment to the Purchaser (shipping times not included).


The Totem, Totem Duo and Desk versions of Thermo Access can be integrated with a system that manages accesses and entrances (turnstiles, automated opening doors, revolving doors and/or similar devices) previously existing in the place of installation.

It is necessary that at the order or afterward – in case it is bought as an option – the Purchaser writes an email to with the references of the type of automated opening door, turnstiles or other, and specify its brand and model.

The Thermo Access technicians will include access management in the configuration and such can be connected with an interface cable or with an Ethernet communication, depending on the device and the software managing it.

How does it work: the user measures the temperature according to the standard method; once this is done if the result is negative (no temperature), the turnstiles – automated opening door – others, will allow the passage.  In case the result is positive (meaning above the 37,5 °C), the turnstiles – automated opening door – others, will not allow the passage and the authorization.


All Thermo Access products, therefore Totem – Totem Duo – Desk – Mini, can be customized in terms of graphics; all you need to do is select the appropriate option when placing the order.

We point out that customized products from a graphic point of view requires a 15 days manufacturing from the date of receipt of the graphic file sent by the Purchaser, in addition to the selected shipping times.

How it works:

As soon as the device is ordered with the customized graphic option, the Purchaser will receive an email from the address containing the template of the sticker measurements to be customized. The buyer, through a person appointed by him (graphic designer), will return the definitive draft print of the graphics.

If the Purchaser could not rely on a qualified person for this activity, Thermo Access provides the possibility of a specialized consultancy, payment service. The quotation for this service must be requested by sending a specific email to The Purchaser will be contacted directly by the appointed graphic designer within two days from receiving the email.


For shipment in Italy, at the discretion of the Purchaser, two types of packaging are used: box or cage.

In compliance with international packaging regulations or when specifically requested by the buyer, fumigated packaging is possible for shipments abroad: a completely closed case, using OSB wood.

The indicative measures of the packaging, regardless of its type, are 2200 mm long – 900 mm wide – 650 mm high.

We specify that the courier in charge of delivery (whose name will be communicated during the shipment), will be equipped with a hydraulic lift transportation mean.

Below are the delivery times of the ordered material:

The Supplier will ship the products ordered by the Purchaser within 8 working days from the receipt of the payment. In case of customized products, the time needed for preparing the graphics, which can vary from 8 to 15 working days, must be added to the normal 8 days. Delivery will take place by courier appointed by the Supplier and the goods will travel with suitable insurance coverage.

In Italy, delivery varies according to the urgency indicated by the Purchaser, therefore from a minimum of 48 hours up to a maximum of 7 working days. The Italian islands are an exception, for which the minimum is equal to 96 hours up to a maximum of 9 working days. In Europe and in the rest of the world times vary from 3 to 15 working days, depending on the Country of destination.

Other useful notes:

  • For graphically customized products, the packaging does not undergo any changes compared to what is described above.
  • For shipment of accessories (adjustment and management base supports for entrances and exits, sanitizer gel kit) not contextual to the first purchase, reinforced cardboard packaging will be used, commonly used, since the optional elements not heavy and/or bulky.
  • During the unpacking operations, it is recommended to scrupulously follow the instructions indicated on the outside of the packaging.
  • All THERMO ACCESS products will be accompanied by the installation and start-up manual, the use and maintenance manual and the declaration of conformity of the product. These documents will be inserted inside each package.
